Composition
Each ml contains:
• Flunixin Meglumine I.P. – 83 mg (equivalent to Flunixin – 50 mg)
• Flunixin Meglumine I.P. – 83 mg (equivalent to Flunixin – 50 mg)
Indications
Effective non-steroidal, non-narcotic analgesic, antipyretic and anti-inflammatory injection. Flunixin inhibits the cyclooxygenase enzyme responsible for the synthesis of prostaglandins from arachidonic acid. Controls pyrexia, pain and inflammation related to:
• Metritis
• Mastitis
• Septicaemia
• Pneumonia
• Endotoxaemia
• Metritis

Dosage
• Cattle, Sheep & Goat: 1.1–2.2 mg Flunixin per kg body weight, or 1–2 ml per 45 kg body weight, slow I/V or I/M.
• Horse: 1.1 mg Flunixin per kg body weight, or 1 ml per 45 kg body weight, slow I/V, once daily for 3–5 days.
• Dogs: 1 mg Flunixin per kg body weight, slow I/V or I/M.
• Horse: 1.1 mg Flunixin per kg body weight, or 1 ml per 45 kg body weight, slow I/V, once daily for 3–5 days.
• Dogs: 1 mg Flunixin per kg body weight, slow I/V or I/M.
Administration
Slow intravenous (I/V) or intramuscular (I/M) injection.
Target Species
Cattle, sheep, goat, horse and dogs.
